She was very beautiful. He gained fame in 1950 when his Punjabi film "Shammi" was released. She was the only actress in whose name the film was made. "Shammi" proved to be a successful film. Along with Shammi, Santosh Kumar was the hero. His songs also caused a stir. Especially this song sung by Inayat Hussain Bhatti "Sohe Jode Wale" has crossed all the boundaries of popularity. This Punjabi song also became very popular in India. The filmmaker of "Shammi" was the famous singer Malaka Pakhraj. Queen Pakraj had her own studio in Lahore. Queen Pakraj was the mother of famous singer Tahira Syed. Shammi has acted in 13 films, including 12 in Urdu and one in Punjabi. His film "Rohi" was banned in 1954. The reason given was that it incited class hatred. Among his other films, "Ghulam, Alzam, Mehbooba, Tarap, Khazan Ke Baad, and Pawan" are particularly noteworthy. The film "Ghulam" was made by Anwar Kamal Pasha who was a parrot at that time. Apart from Shammi, Sabiha and Santosh Kumar were also in the film. Shami's performance in this film was liked.
